Rennes is a city of 210,000 inhabitants, located in the east of Brittany in northwestern France. It is the capital of the Bretagne region and of the Ille-et-Vilaine département, and it is the smallest city in the world with an underground system. The driverless system is also proud of the station, La Poterie, designed by Norman Foster.
